The Whole-Business Map · Level 2
See how your whole business runs, then bring AI in where it helps.
We map how your business actually runs: every department, every seat and the processes each seat follows. Then we find the bottlenecks and opportunities and bring AI in where it helps, with people and AI side by side. It starts with a conversation about your business.

Signs it's time.
- Find the block named several stuck areas, not just one.
- Everything waits on the owner.
- Nobody is quite sure whose job it is.
Two words we use.
- Seat
- a job to be done, held by a person or an AI employee.
- Processes (SOPs)
- the steps a seat follows to do that job well.
Six stages, eight weeks, and a ninety-day review.
Week 1
Stage 1: Kickoff
Find the block with the leadership team, and agree what easier would mean in ninety days.
You get: A one-page goal and the questions the map must answer.
Weeks 1 to 3
Stage 2: Map the business
Short interviews by department. We draw the departments, seats and processes together, on the map we build together.
You get: The Whole-Business Map.
Week 4
Stage 3: Bottlenecks and opportunities
Walk the map with the leadership team, and rank what is stuck and what is possible.
You get: A ranked list, each item with an owner.
Week 5
Stage 4: The AI plan
Which seats get an AI employee, which stay people-only, and why; how expectations are set for both.
You get: Seat cards with clear expectations, and the AI plan.
Weeks 6 to 8
Stage 5: First moves
Put the first three to five AI employees to work and write the processes they follow.
You get: AI employees live; processes written.
Week 12
Stage 6: Ninety-day review
What changed, measured against the kickoff goal, and what to do next.
You get: A short review and a plan for the next ninety days.
What you'll have at the end.
- The map of your whole business: departments, seats and processes.
- A ranked list of bottlenecks and opportunities, each with an owner.
- Seat cards, so everyone understands the expectations.
- The AI plan, and three to five AI employees already at work.
- A ninety-day review measured against your own goal.
Who it's for.
- Owners and leadership teams of businesses with several departments, roughly ten to a hundred people.
- Nonprofits with a small staff.
- Anyone who finished the Side by Side Workshop and saw how much more is possible.
Who should be in the room: the leadership team.
How it builds on the Side by Side Workshop.
Two AI employees prove the idea on a small, safe scale. They also show what is missing: seats nobody has defined and processes nobody has written down. The Whole-Business Map fixes exactly that, across the whole business.
Not ready for the whole business? Start with the Side by Side WorkshopThe investment.
Most engagements fall between $7,497 and $17,997.
What moves it: your headcount, the number of departments, and how many AI employees go live.
Questions owners ask.
How much of our time does it take?
The kickoff and the walkthroughs need the leadership team in the room. The mapping interviews are short and spread across departments over the first three weeks.
Will this replace my people?
No. Choosing AI is not choosing against people. The AI plan says which seats get an AI employee and which stay people-only, and why, so everyone understands the expectations.
What does it cost?
It depends on your headcount, the number of departments and how many AI employees go live. AI tool subscriptions are separate and paid to the tool's maker.
What happens after?
The ninety-day review measures what changed against the goal you set at kickoff, and lays out the next ninety days.
Let's look at your whole business.
It starts with a conversation about how your business runs today.
