These terms cover your use of this website. Workshops and other paid engagements are covered by their own separate agreement, not by this page.
Who we are
The Easier Business is a trading name of Big Think Labs, LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company.
Use of the site
These terms cover your use of theeasierbusiness.com, the questionnaire at /find-the-block, and the other pages here. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, the respectful thing is not to use the site — email us instead if you'd rather talk it through.
The questionnaire is general information, not professional advice
The questionnaire gives you a quick, general read on where your business might be stuck, based on twelve questions you answer about yourself. It isn't legal, financial, tax or other professional advice, and it isn't a substitute for looking at your actual business with us or with your own advisors. Treat the result as a starting point for a conversation, not a verdict.
Workshops and engagements
Workshops, the whole-business map, and any other paid engagement are governed by their own separate written agreement between you and us, which takes precedence over these terms for that work. These terms only cover the website itself.
Intellectual property
The text, design, logo and the questionnaire itself belong to The Easier Business, except where we say otherwise. You're welcome to link to the site and to quote it with attribution; you don't have permission to copy the site, the questionnaire's logic, or its text and present it as your own.
Acceptable use
Use the site the way it's meant to be used: don't try to break it, scrape it at scale, interfere with other visitors, or use it to send us anything unlawful, abusive or deceptive. We can suspend or restrict access for anyone who doesn't.
Disclaimers
We provide the site, and the questionnaire's results, as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't promise the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the questionnaire's result will match what a deeper look at your business would find.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, The Easier Business isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on the questionnaire's result. Nothing here limits liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
We may update these terms as the site and the business change. We'll update the date at the top when we do, and a material change will say so plainly on this page.
